Pastor - Dr. Rob Burns

Bro. Rob Burns began as our interim pastor in November 2023 and was called as Pastor in July 2024. He is married to Rhonda Skinner Burns.

His favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV) which says “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Student Minister - Bro. Shane Rummel

Hello!

I am Shane Rummel, and I have the honor of serving as the Student Minister here at First Baptist Church of Haynesville since 2022. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Emerald, since 2015 and we have three boys: Audie, River, and Merritt. We are originally from Texas but have moved to follow God’s call to serve Haynesville in whatever capacity He sees fit.

We are excited to be a part of such an incredible community!

Hi, I am Carla Frasier Smith, and I am married to Jerry Smith. We have 1 daughter, Angela Bouy and 1 grand daughter, Kammi Rae Bouy. I grew up in the FBC, and it has been my home church all of my life. All of my family from grandparents, to parents, to sisters, and all their children have been and are faithful members of FBC. I became the music director here in 2017, after retiring from being a hairdresser for 30 years. Music is my passion, and I have been singing in the FBC choirs since I was 5 years old.

Psalm 9:1-2 says; "I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High."

Hi, I'm Sandra Hicks. I have 3 grown children, Brandi, Jason and Eric and 1 stepson, Garron. I have 10 grandchildren. I recently moved back to Haynesville after my husband passed away in 2022. I joined FBC in October 2023. I love my church. They're a blessing to me.

My favorite bible verse is "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him and He will make paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6

Financial Secretary - Rhonda Chiasson

My name is Rhonda Chiasson. I have been a member of FBC since 2003. I have lived in Haynesville all my life. I am married to Todd Chiasson for 40 years. Todd currently serves as the FBC Deacon Chairman. We have one son, Chase, a daughter in law, Jamie, and two granddaughters, Avery and Ellisyn.

My favorite bible verse is "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
